Dresden High School seniors Daylan Davis, Dahlton Davis, Luke DiPietro, and Zane Novotny recently visited the TCAT Blue Oval Campus in Stanton, TN to explore workforce development opportunities tied to high-demand careers. Students were accompanied by Career Coach Beth Anne Overholt and History teacher, Justin Cruse.
During their visit, students received an up-close look at all five programs offered at TCAT. They also toured Ford’s new employee training facility and the automation training center, gaining valuable insight into the skills and training needed for today’s advanced manufacturing careers.
Students had the opportunity to meet with Derrick Craddock, Ford Tennessee Truck Plant Manufacturing Engineer Manager – Stamping, who shared information about the manufacturing processes used at Ford and how TCAT programs connect directly to careers at Blue Oval City.
Overall, the visit provided a meaningful day of learning and helped students better prepare for their college and career pathways.
